Please help us welcome our new SCC Executive Director James Kay! James is joining us to help fulfill SCC’s mission to preserve climbing for present and future generations. As a community, we continue to carry the torch of good stewardship of our climbing resources. James will join us and lead the charge by continuing to build relationships with land managers, elevate education and stewardship initiatives, and welcome new climbers into the coalition that protects the treasure trove of crags we have in Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia.

“Returning to the Southeast truly feels like coming home, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to join the Southeastern Climbers Coalition. This organization represents not just a passion for climbing, but a commitment to preserving the community and culture that make this region so special. I’m eager to contribute to such an impactful organization and work alongside all of you who share my love for this incredible area and making an impact for future generations of climbers!”
